Introduction: Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is an organic compound with a chemical formula of C10H16N2O8 and a white powder at room temperature and pressure. It is a chelating agent that can be combined with two valence metal ions such as Mg2+, Ca2+, Mn2+ and Fe2+.
