SiBaCa/Silicon Barium Calcium Inoculant Ferro Alloy Inoculant is the most effective deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the Barium alloy. It can extremely reduce the oxygen in the steel and make the complicated oxide contains Ca/Ba/Si/Al easier to flow from the molten steel, so as to pure the steel and improve its toughness.
Barium effectively reduces the vapor pressure of calcium and increases the solubility of calcium in liquid steel over a range of steelmaking temperatures. Compared WITH SI-CA ALLOY, SI-BARIUM CALCIUM ALLOY IS USED AS calcium source TO ADD CALCIUM TO liquid steel, even if the amount of calcium added is half of SI-CA alloy, the calcium content in liquid steel is about twice that OF SI-CA alloy, and the calcium content in liquid steel is also significantly increased. It shows that Barium can effectively protect calcium and reduce calcium oxidation in liquid steel, thus achieving the purpose of calcium treatment in liquid steel.
